Language
The language of the screens follows your Jira language; the language of e-mails and the AI assistant is set for the whole installation.
The screens
The app's screens follow the language of each person in Jira: French or English. Everyone sees the app in their own language, on the same installation.
Messages the app sends
E-mail reminders and AI assistant answers are in a single language for the whole installation. A Jira administrator picks it in Settings, "Language of the app’s messages" card:
- Open the Settings page.
- In "Language of the app’s messages", choose English or Français.
- Click "Save the language".
Good to know
Until someone chooses, English applies. The change takes effect from the next reminder or answer, and it is written to the audit log.
The server checks the right on every call: only the Administrator role and Jira administrators read or change this language. It is stored with the other installation settings; Jira is not asked for any additional right.
